The faculty is located in the block delimited by Santiago del Estero, Humberto 1°, San José and Carlos Calvo, in the Constitución neighborhood. While, currently the activities of the IGG are developed in Uriburu 950near the Faculty of Medicine.

The building will consist of a ground floor and 4 floors, with a specific area of 403.06 square meters and the possibility of housing almost 700 people who work at the Institute.
The agreed budget for the work is $430,152,323, with an execution period of 540 calendar days.
