The “Tamu Sana” near the Ars Electronica Center is a popular address for lovers of East African cuisine. A restructuring procedure has now been opened for the restaurant. The liabilities amount to 290,000 euros. Due to the Corona-related closures, sales have plummeted, according to the bankruptcy application. The Corona aid was only given to a small extent.
However, the bankruptcy does not currently result in the closure of the restaurant. “The company remains open,” said the credit protection association (KSV1870). The staff has been reduced in the meantime. A total of 15 employees and nine creditors are affected by the bankruptcy.
