Positive variations are noted for the index in two of the three regions. The ICC fell 1.2% in the Federal Capital, increased 6.1% in the Interior, and rose 10.8% in Greater Buenos Aires, always with respect to December.

The predisposition for purchase of household appliances, houses and cars (Durable Goods and Real Estate) increased 9.7% compared to the previous month.
In December, the subindex of Fixed and Real Estate Assets it rose 2.2% in the Interior, remained unchanged in CABA, and rose 19.8% in GBA, always with respect to December. Regarding said sub-index at the national level, the monthly variation was positive at 9.7%.
The subscript that evaluates the Personal situation of the respondents rose 2.1% compared to last month at the national level. If we analyze this sub-index in detail, the component that measures the perception of those surveyed regarding their personal situation evaluated in comparison with the past (in the short term of one year) fell 4.2%, and the component that measures the expectations of how their personal situation will be in the future (one-year expectations) increased 6.6%, always compared to last month.
The subscript that measures the short and medium term expectations of consumers regarding the Macroeconomic Situation, it showed a considerable increase (10.8%) with respect to the measurement of the previous month. Analyzing in detail, compared to the previous month, short-term macroeconomic expectations improved by 16.6%, while long-term macroeconomic expectations improved by 7.8%.
Analysis by educational level
By educational level, which we take as an approximation to the income level of the individual, Confidence showed negative balances for both groups in interannual terms, these being 0.2% for the highest income group and 9.8% for the lowest income segment. In the month-on-month comparison, the measure of the group of households with the highest educational level/income increased 9.6%, while the measure of the group of households with the lowest educational level/income showed an increase of 2.3%, always with compared to December.
