2. Commercial employees
According to the closing of the joint agreement 2022-2023 in January, commerce workers will receive an increase of 13.9% in February while in March, the increase will be 9.9%.
3. Mechanics and related
The Automobile Transport Mechanics and Allied Union (SMATA) agreed to a $200,000 to $300,000 bonus that will be settled in the last days of February until March 10. The bonus consists of the payment of 150 hours for all its terminal operators and auto parts manufacturers. When it comes to the liquidation of said hours, the payment is different depending on the category of each employee.
In turn, based on this dynamic they agreed to 18.39% for the current, February and March. The bonus has already materialized for automotive terminals and auto parts companies, but SMATA’s intention is to extend it to the rest of the employers where affiliates work.
4. Building managers
In February, the building managers will collect the penultimate bonus agreed in the 2022 period. It will be $26,000 in the month of February and 16% is added for parities.
Last October, the parties agreed on a 48% salary increase for the last tranche of the joint period, for the fourth category established in article 6 of the aforementioned collective agreement, and the percentage will be applied to the basic salary of the remaining and additional categories.
Once the salary for February has been paid, only the 26,000 pesos will remain to be paid in March. In this same month, parities will also be reopened.
5. State workers
The agreement reached for the 2023-2023 parity will be in force since February in three installments. This month there will be a 10% increase, 8% in March and 5.13% in April. These fees will be based on the December 2022 salary collected in January, so to calculate the annual increase it should not be added directly to the 60% already agreed. The annual increase is calculated on the salary of May 2022 and results in 97%.
6. Cold meat workers
The Workers and Employees Union of the Cold Cuts, Triperia and their Derivatives Industry (SOEICHA) recently signed the closing of its 2022 parity with an accumulated increase of 107%. In turn, they agreed to a non-remunerative sum of $17,500 in February. That benefit is for 4,850 affiliates.
