Massa receives the Liaison Table: what measures are expected
For this afternoon, the presence of the Argentine Rural Society (SRA), Argentine Rural Confederations (CRA), Argentine Agrarian Federation (FAA) and the Intercooperative Agricultural Confederation (Coninagro).
This meeting takes place within the framework of a series of meetings that different areas of the Government held with the leaders of the area of Agriculture and the countryside. Among them, there were technical meetings with the aim of preparing the measures.
For example, the meeting of Bahillo with the head of the AFIP, Carlos Castagnetoto advance in tax mechanisms that allow relief to all producers affected by the lack of rain.
In addition, there were other meetings with technical teams from the provinces to analyze the situation regarding the drought, with the declaration of an agricultural emergency, which allows the national government to grant tax benefits to producers.
It is expected that the Agriculture authorities will announce measures this Wednesday, after the list of requests that they approached from the field, such as fiscal relief, financing and declarations of emergency or agricultural disaster at the municipal, provincial and national levels.
