In the meeting this afternoon between Massa and González, the development of the project was also put on the table “Southern Dead Cow”. This is a project to export crude oil to the world through the Río Negro through a 700-kilometer pipeline from the unconventional formation to the Río Negro port of Punta Colorada. Its total investment is US$1.200 million.

Another point of the meeting was the LNG project with the Malaysian company Petronas with an initial investment of US$10,000 million. The development will allow the production and transportation of gas to later proceed to its liquefaction and be able to export it to overseas destinations.

According to estimates from the energy sector, based on investments and projects, the energy balance could go from a negative balance of US$5.5 billion in 2022 to a positive balance between US$4.000 and US$8.000 million in the 2026.

Lastly, during the meeting they addressed the energy transition agenda, another of the mainstays of the company led by González.
