“We have consolidated an agreement with more than 80 companies to have a school basket that follows the 3.2% price update over the next few months,” Massa explained.
In this regard, he commented that the objective is “to guarantee the expenses of our families” and that “they are controlled expenses, that do not hit the salary or the income and that allow to guarantee that the boys go to school normally”.
Immediately afterwards, the minister thanked the chambers that represent Argentine private educational entities as well as the Ministry of Education and the Secretary of Commerce.

“We were able to advance in an agreement that, in some way, gives us the peace of mind of knowing that for all Argentine households that have their children of school age, we give them predictability, we give them certainty,” he added.
Fair Prices – Agreement with Private Schools
The official, at the same time, maintained that “The State is going to make an effort around what many Argentine provinces pay in terms of subsidies” and “another effort establishing a light and gas scheme similar to that of neighborhood clubs.”
On the other hand, Massa thanked Perzcyk for his work “so that it is not an agreement that influences schools in the capital or the province, but rather in schools throughout the country.”
“We await the commitment of all the provincial governments, understanding that when we lower the spending of our families, we are helping them to live better,” he completed.
School year
For his part, Perczyk thanked “the effort, work and commitment of the representatives of private education to give predictability to increases in school fees and bring economic peace of mind to families.”
“Argentina has an educational system in which 75% are public establishments and the remaining 25 are private, which is why we appreciate that you join this agreement,” he stressed.

He stated that this agreement “is one more step towards the beginning of the next school year” and invited the 23 provinces and the City of Buenos Aires to “adhere to the agreement signed today.”
The signing of the agreement was also attended by the Secretary of Commerce, Matías Tombolini; the Executive Adviser of the Ministry of Education, Mario Caputo; the director of Public Education for Private Management, María Gloria Zingoni; the Secretary General of the Federal Council of Education, Marcelo Mango and the Undersecretary of Policies for the Internal Market, Gustavo Faskowicz.
