The objective of the agreement, according to Massa, is “to move towards a more productive economy, more associated with innovation and more associated with what we call the 4.0 economy.”
The agreement has four components: the first of non-refundable contributions of US$28 million, a second of non-refundable contributions linked to digital transformation -with the objective of creating MyPyMES 4.0-, a third for the Federal Network of Support Services for MyPyMES and a fourth for the contracting of training services for technological improvement, Massa added.
In addition, he announced that he is negotiating with the IDB a loan for producers affected by the effects of the drought. “We are negotiating a series of additional lines, perhaps the most important with the IDB, related to the impact that the drought as a result of climate change is generating in our economy and in the global economy, in addition to the impact that it will have for producers. farmers from all over Argentina,” he said, without specifying the amount.

In turn, the minister stressed that during 2022 “there was a record of disbursements” with multilateral organizationsand he trusted that his aspiration for this year is to exceed that goal.
In this sense, the head of the economic portfolio remarked that Argentina paid 5,023 million dollars last year, in order to “comply” with the commitments acquired.
“Most of these disbursements were made between August and December, in that period 77 percent was paid” of that figure, he remarked.
In addition, he considered that “the most important thing with multilaterals is the flow of capital, and during 2022 it was 1,913 million dollars net.”
