What discounts on meat
The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, announced this afternoon the implementation of a comprehensive plan to promote the production and consumption of meat, which aims to assist producers affected by the drought and set 10% refunds for consumers who pay for their purchases at butcher shops and convenience stores with debit cards.
The benefit will be every day throughout the country for purchases in businesses that are registered with the AFIP on the effective date of the program and includes neighborhood butcher shops, convenience stores and businesses that are registered with the Value Added Tax (VAT) as MiPyme. Chain hypermarkets and supermarkets will be excluded.
In the case of Banco Nación cards, there will be an additional 35% discount for purchases on Saturdays and Sundays.
