Compared to August of this year, the patents that grew the most were those for harvesters (+ 25%), followed by tractors (14.1%) and, finally, for sprayers (+ 3.8%).
In the accumulated of 2021, 5,174 new agricultural machines were registered, 54.6% more than in the same period of 2020. The segment of tractors improved 72.6% and that of sprayers 26.2%. On the contrary, the patents of harvesters fell 4.4%.
In terms of market leadership, ACARA noted that there were no changes in September compared to previous months. In tractors, it was the American John Deere who had the largest market share with 31%, seconded by Pauny with 24% and New Holland with 16%.
In Harvesters, the deer brand also led with 44% of the market, followed by Case and New Holland with 23 and 20% respectively. In Pulverizadoras, the national brands set the pace, with a fight for the lead between Metalfor and PLA, the first with 35% and the second with 31%, having between the 2 brands, two thirds of the market.
