Together with the Vienna Controller Institute, OÖN awarded two partial scholarships for the part-time Certified Controller course, each worth EUR 4,775. The jury did not take the decision lightly. The choice fell on Martina Lissy (42) and Gudrun Zöchmann (48). The handover took place virtually this week.
Gudun Zöchmann from St. Florian near Linz first studied law and then economics. She has been working in controlling for more than ten years: She worked for a social enterprise for several years before moving to controlling at a metal company in Upper Austria. Your expectations of the course: “I would like to refresh my knowledge and bring myself up to date.”

Martina Lissy is also looking forward to learning new things: “And I would like to discuss problems that concern me with other participants and get in touch with controllers from other companies and industries and network.” Krems and Management and worked in banking at the beginning of her career. She has been working as a controller for several years and is currently working for the company VTW in Waidhofen an der Thaya, which was founded in 2019 and manufactures injection molding tools. These are used in medical technology and for the production of closures.

Registrations for the “Certified Controller” course of the Controller Institute are still possible. The modules can also be booked individually. The course starts on April 19 in Linz.
