In February, 30,121 cars were patented, 3.5% more than in the same month of 2022, but 40.2% less than in January, when 50,365 units were patented, according to the report for that month by ACARA.

In the first two months of the year, a total of 80,486 patented units, 10.8% more than in the same period of the previous year. Of the total units patented, 19,085 were from cars and 9,252 were light vehicles, 993 are heavy commercial vehicles, and 791 were other heavy vehicles.
