Popular housing, short food distribution circuits with the participation of mutuals, popular markets, incubators of care cooperatives, training on gender issues, provision of water in areas with difficulties in accessing its supply, manufacture of devices for the good living of people with disabilities are just some of the topics that will be developed at the meeting.
The Tables of Associativism were devised by Mario Cafiero in 2020 during his tenure at the head of Inaes, as part of his policy of taking that body to the territories.
As of his death, the project was reconverted with the Mayes Liaison Unit (UV Mayes), created by provision of Roig.
The promoting nuclei of the tables are autonomous, and the organizations that comprise them decide the priorities based on the community needs of each locality.
The UV Mayes is in charge of accompanying the process of organizing the proposed projects, and of coordinating with the pertinent organizations to give effect to those proposals arising from the organized community.
