More than 10,000 producers managed help in Santa Fe

The Government will grant financial aid to producers who were affected by the severe consequences brought by the drought. Registration is open.

more than 10 thousand producers of the Santa Fe Province have so far submitted their damage affidavits to join the benefits of the agricultural emergency declared by the droughtwhich has as Registration deadline April 14Official spokespersons reported this Monday.

It is estimated that those 10,000 affected who signed their affidavit represent around 5 million productive hectares affected because of the drought, which are in turn 40% of the provincial totalfor which many registrations are still expected.

For her part, the Agrifood Secretary of the Ministry of Production, Mary Eugenia Carrizoremarked that, although the AFIP admitted that producers can receive the economic benefits with the sole presentation of the affidavit, they must present the certificates before the agency as soon as they receive them.

The presentation of the affidavit is the first step to obtain the certificate, but given the seriousness of the situation, the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) agreed to a request from the provincial government for producers to start receiving the emergency benefits from the start of the process.

How to file the affidavit

  • The Santa Fe System for the Management of Agricultural Emergency Situations (Sisagea) must be accessed from the website santafe.gov.ar, on whose cover there is a link to Agricultural Emergency.

To report the damage suffered on their properties or farms, producers must be registered in the Single Registry of Primary Productions (RUPP).
