The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP)through the General Tax Directorate (DGI)seized more than 100 tons of grains that were transported in four trucks so irregular. The maneuver was dismantled by agents of the organization led by Carlos Castagneto during operations carried out on routes in the south of the province of Santa Fe. The proceedings involved members of the federal and local forces.

The inspection and control tasks face-to-face were carried out in the vicinity of the towns of Rufino and Maggiolo after investigations of the specialized areas in the agricultural sector of the AFIP.


When verifying that the merchandise was transferred without documentary support corresponding, the inspectors of the DGI they proceeded to interdict 91 tons of corn and 10 tons of oatsequivalent to the charge of 4 trucks and with an estimated market value of $5 million. The cereals remain in a store in the city of one-eyed deer.

The procedures included the intervention of National Gendarmeriedependent on Ministery of securityand of the Police from the province of Santa Fe. Meanwhile, the AFIP will perform the tax adjustments and apply the sanctions corresponding by the fraudulent maneuver.
