In a statement, the Campi authorities expressed their “gratitude towards the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa”, officials from his portfolio and his work team “for the measures announced” on the new “agro dollar”.

“We value the measure announced in an adverse context such as the current one for agro-export activity in general, due to the great drought suffered throughout the Argentine territory,” the letter said.
In this sense, the business chamber indicated that “with the announced measures, a mitigation is generated for the adverse situation that all agro-exporting SMEs will face, allowing the activity of each of the companies located in the different regions of the country to be sustained.”
In the case of the regional economies, the differential exchange rate will be extended until August 31 and, according to estimates made by the Secretary of Agriculture, Juan José Bahillo, US$ 4,000 million could enter in said period.
