“In previous editions of the soybean dollar, imbalances were generated because producers who had already sold were left out. But this new version complicates even more, because we are with a large number of producers who are in an emergency and do not have soybeans,” the leader complained. .

Achetoni pointed out that there are also “livestock producers, dairy farmers and even those from regional economies that are in an emergency or agricultural disaster, for whom a differential exchange rate for soybeans causes distortions.”
In statements to the “Sin relato” program, which is broadcast by AM 990, the head of the Agrarian Federation also considered that the official decision mainly benefits collectors and exporters, although he acknowledged that “every producer who has first class soybeans will “It can be useful. But those who have little soybean make it enormously difficult, because inputs will increase.”
“For this reason, we are demanding a bailout for all producers who are in an emergency or disaster,” he emphasized and, at the same time, he assessed that differential exchange rates, such as the soybean dollar, “generate imbalances,” for which he claimed narrow the exchange rate gap.
Within this framework, Achetoni said that with the new soybean dollar “some export sectors will be rewarded, but when it is necessary to import, the Government will not have dollars available.”
The Agrarian Federation plans to carry out a mobilization towards the National Congress and the Ministry of Economy to demand a “rescue” for the producers affected by the drought.
