Registered employment in the private sector grew by 3% in the last month of January in the province of Santa Fe, reaching 517,242 people in that employment condition, the provincial Labor portfolio reported today.
The minister of the area, Juan Manuel Pusineri, provided a report on the situation and evolution of registered employment in the province, in which it is highlighted that “15,340 workers accessed formal jobs in private sector companies during the last 12 months”. .
In the month of January of this year, the wage earners registered in the private sector were 517,242 in Santa Fe, according to the official report.
This figure implies a growth of 3.06% compared to the same month of the previous year.
Pusineri pointed out that “according to these data, the level of formal work already exceeds the records of the years 2017 and 2018, and in the breakdown of items, except for one in particular, all participate in this growth, that is, industry, construction, commerce and services”.
The minister added that “private employment maintains this trend in a complex macroeconomic context in Argentina impacted by the restriction on access to foreign currency, high inflation and the impact of the drought.”
However, he said through an official communication, “the province makes an important contribution to the production of Santa Fe.”
“With management so that the activity does not stop in the companies, with financing and employment programs and with a development of public works extended throughout the territory, many of them destined to improve the conditions of the enterprises that generate work such as roads , aqueducts and gas pipelines or investment in connectivity”, the head of the provincial labor portfolio abounded.
