For the 30th time, OÖNachrichten and its partners are awarding the state’s most important business prize. Submissions can be made at nachrichten.at/pegasus2023 – this year under the motto “New Paths” in the categories Lighthouses, Innovation Emperors, Success Stories, Hopes for the Future and Entrepreneur/Manager of the Year.

Among the numerous previous applications, for example, is that of BMD system house from Steyr with the success stories. Last year the company celebrated its 50th anniversary – with record sales. According to Managing Director Markus Knasmüller, the number of employees has increased from 47 to 729 since 1993. BMD Systemhaus offers software solutions for companies and tax consultants, such as “the company/law firm on the smartphone”, construction site software, digital document management and paperless accounting.

In the innovation emperor category, among others Hello again applied from Leonding. Founded in 2017, the company develops individually tailored apps that companies can offer their customers via smartphone. On average, according to the managing director Franz Tretter around 25 percent of sales invested in innovation.
