This Friday, the fourth edition of PreViaje will be officially launchedthe program of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports that on this occasion has as objective that the tourism sector does not have a low season. Ámbito agreed to all the details of the initiative, which will include two long weekends and a price agreement to avoid strong remarks.
What will Pre-Trip 4 be like?
Official sources confirmed to this newspaper that PreViaje 4 It will be used to travel between May 24 and June 30a somewhat narrower window compared to the two months that had been initially mentioned but that includes extra long weekends from May 25 to 28 and June 17 to 20. “These are the months that historically have the least tourist activity of the year,” they highlighted from the portfolio led by Matías Lammens.
For those who want to take advantage of the opportunity, purchases must be made between April 19 and 25. Meanwhile, there will be time until April 28 to upload the vouchers or until the budget allocated for this edition of the program is reached.
The system will be the same as in previous editions: 50% will be refunded of the accredited expenses to be used again in the tourist chain and, for PAMI affiliates, the return will be 70%.
In this case, the return limit will be $70,000. Said credit may be spent from the date of the trip, and until October 31, 2023. Those who have already used PreViaje in previous editions may reuse the card.
Previaje can be used in tourist services (travel and excursion agencies, accommodation, car and equipment rental, gastronomy, domestic air transport, long-distance land and tourism) and in cultural consumption (handicrafts, cinema, galleries, museums, regional products , recitals and theaters), in all destinations in the country.

As in PreViaje 3, this edition will include a price agreement with the hotel sector, which Lammens signed with industry representatives this week. On this occasion, in addition, a reference price agreement was reached with the travel agency.
The intention is to avoid what happened in the first two editions of the program, when companies took advantage of the increased demand to unload significant increases. The list will be uploaded on the website www.previaje.gob.ar from the start of the fourth stage.
Supervision of compliance with the agreement will be the responsibility of the Secretary of Commerce. Firms that fail to comply will be penalized and will be left out of the program.
In the third edition of PreViaje, held in the low season of 2022, around 1 million tourists participated. The impact for the sector represented more than $35,000 million. While in the three previous editions, more than 6 million tourists accessed the benefits, with an impact close to $200,000 million for regional economies. According to official sources, this generated 54,000 new jobs.
