The Union of Bakery and Related Personnel of the City of Buenos Aires (UPPA) reported this Thursday that it closed a new parity agreement. He himself establishes a salary increase semester of 55%, until the month of August.

“In a complex context, we have closed a parity that notably improves the pockets of workers. That was the priority in the negotiation, leaving open the dialogue and negotiations to agree on new increases”highlighted Sánchez, head of UPPA, and a reference to the “Antonio López” Bakers Association of FAUPPA.

The agreement reached for the March/August period between the union and the employers also determined “review instance” for September. At that moment, explained the leader, “we sit down again for the purpose of analyzing and update the wages of the workers”.
The union also stressed that in the case of bakery clerks, the total increase will be 58%, since “it was possible to equalize the basic salary of the workers with that of the officers as of March 1.” “UPPA is a first-rate union entity that represents the more than 40,000 workers in the bakery and related industry of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires”, was highlighted.
