About a year ago, the startup incubator tech2b expanded its range of support and now supports startups at an even earlier stage, practically from the idea. In the past, a specifically developed business concept was required in order to be included in a start-up program, but tech2b now has onen created lower-threshold access. The aim is to “continue to promote start-ups and to support those interested in starting a business in the early idea phase”. says Raphael Friedl, Managing Director of tech2b.
“Promising results” after one year
In a first assessment Markus Achleitner (VP) is satisfied. From more than 160 initial discussions, 100 start-up ideas were included in the program. 56 of them applied for the subsequent tech2b program “Activate”, in which the focus is already on founding a company. 13 actually made the recording.
Life Saving Shirt
Just like Christopher Brunnmayer, who founded “Airmate” together with Melissa Leibetseder in July 2021. The startup from Feldkirchen an der Donau wants a Rettudevelop a shirt that protects children from drowning in emergency situations. As soon as the body is submerged in water, a sensor ensures that a collar is inflated, keeping the child’s head above the water.
Plant-based alternative to milk
Jas have a completely different missionMin Rath and Stefan Schreiber. With their startup “Plantarista” they have developed a plant drink powder as a milk substitute. This should make it easier for the catering trade to meet customer requests for plant-based nutrition and at the same time produce less food and packaging waste.
