Producers sold more than 121,000 tons of soybeans and add up to 270,500

Soybean producers sold more than 121,000 tons on the second day of the third edition of the Export Increase Program (PIE)which implements an exchange rate of $300 per dollar for oilseed exports until next May 31.

In addition, the income of foreign currency from agro-exporters to the Single and Free Exchange Market (MULC) reached on Thursday US$573.9 million.

According to the figures of the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange121,391 tons of soybeans were sold and, together with those of Wednesday, they totaled 270,441 at the beginning of the third edition of the soybean dollar.

New purchase and sale contracts concluded in pesos on Thursday and on previous dates but noted yesterday together totaled 50,407 tonsand the average value of those deals resulted in $92,908 per unit of weight.

On the other hand, the fixings of operations agreed before Thursday for 8,818 tons were also highlighted, reaching an average value of $96,173.

In relation to business agreed in dollarssoybean purchase and sale contracts registered a average value of $495 for a volume of 2,630 tons; while fixings were recorded for 27,689 tons at an average value of US$352.

On the other hand, there were registered contracts without determining price or currency for some 28,446 tonspending agreement between buyers and sellers.

For their part, the agro-exporters entered the local exchange market yesterday for almost US$574 million, and In the first two rounds they accumulated income of US$667,868 million.

While, The Central Bank closed the day on Thursday with purchases for US$332 millionand accumulated US$334 million in two days.
