progress is the program implemented by the national government to strengthen entry, permanence and exit of students, promote completion of compulsory education and encourage higher education and professional training courses. In December 2021, the program was expanded to include 16 and 17 year old students. It also contemplates prioritized populations for which the age requirements vary.
It has 4 types scholarship: Progress Required (which includes lines 16 and 17), Progress Higher, Progress Nursing and Progress Work. The Mandatory Level concentrates the largest number of holders with 924,484 (54.46%) and then followed by the Higher Level and Nursing, which distinguish University Level (with 412,120, 24.28%) and Non-University Level (with 270,079, 15.91%).
