ARBA goes out to look for evaders with the help of the municipalities

The province’s collection agency signed an agreement with more than 20 municipalities to collaborate by providing information for inspection tasks.

The Collection Agency of the province of Buenos Aires (ARBA) made official this Monday, April 17, more than 20 agreements signed with Buenos Aires municipalities. According to the resolutions, local governments will collaborate with the entity providing information to strengthen and facilitate inspection tasks.

Through today’s Official Gazette, the executive director of the entity, Cristian Girardassured that the agreement contemplates the exchange of information and also cooperation and technical assistance.

ARBA will provide alphanumeric data contained in its real estate database; cartography in digital format in the current state of development, and the user to consult it via the web; and information corresponding to taxes on gross income and automobile.

For their part, the municipalities will provide qualified information of all fees and fines that it administers; information on municipal authorizations; information on the installed capacity of commercial and industrial premises; data corresponding to urban and rural properties, their modifications, additions or deletion of accessions that experience the plots subject to their jurisdiction, of which they become aware; urban cartography; municipal building work plans; and the urban planning code.

The focus of these agreements is placed on land and buildingsso it is estimated that the focus is on the real estate tax and possible evasion maneuvers that are detected.

This Monday, 22 agreements were made official between ARBA and the following communes: Carlos Casares, San Nicolás, Lanús, Pinamar, Ensenada, Avellaneda, Berisso, San Fernando, Berazategui, General Paz, Colón, Guaminí, Tornquist, Pehuajó, Carlos Tejedor, Tandil, San Isidro, Florentino Ameghino, General Alvear, Escobar, Lomas de Zamora and Lobos.
