Rio Negro: Alipiba II

In the case of Río Negro, as part of the Plan Federal Electric Transportation III, and after the process of opening technical envelopes, the tender for the ALIPIBA II High Voltage Line will be awarded, a fundamental electroduct to increase the transmission capacity in Bariloche and Pilcaniyeu.

In addition, it will allow the definitive connection of Villa La Angostura to the Argentine Interconnection System (SADI).

Currently, this tourist town does not have an interconnection to the National System and generates its electricity consumption from a thermal power plant. It already has the line built to connect to the second High Voltage Line on the border with the province of Río Negro.

The work will have an investment of US$ 75,800,000, and will complement the supply needs for the localities involved, which until now depend on the original ALIPIBA and, in the case of Villa La Angostura, means reducing its dependence on generation local thermal.

Since the current management of the Ministry of Energy and the economy portfolio in charge of Sergio Massa, priority was given to the work in view of its decisive importance for improving the living conditions of 160,000 inhabitants, as well as for its contribution to the productive development of the Andean zone, its environmental impact and its benefit to the communities that reside along the route.

Neuquen: Añelo

In relation to Añelo, the start-up of the natural gas project for the main municipality of Vaca Muerta in the province of Neuquén was announced.

With a budget of $136,250,097, Añelo will benefit more than 130 families, reaching more than 550 inhabitants of the Neuquén town of Añelo.
