The Government increased spending by more than $ 133,000 million

At the same time also cuts were made to assigned items for a total of $ 16,405 million, among which stand out $ 10,062 million that were foreseen for the Coordination of International Financial Relations by the Presidency of the Nation; and $ 6,000 million that had been projected for the Construction of the Air Control Tower, the Area Control Center Building and accesses by the Ministry of Transportation.

Where will the new resources go:

• Public Works: “Water and Sewer Program more Work”.
• General Secretariat of the Presidency: funds for the Nuclear Regulatory Authority, for the National Disability Agency (destined to the medical attention of non-contributory pensioners).
• Chief of Cabinet of Ministers: reinforces budget ($ 1,325 million) to the National Communications Agency (for operating, maintenance and investment expenses at the Entity’s headquarters, including the Instituto Superior de Enseñanza Radiofónica ISER). It will also increase the budget with financing from the National Treasury to the Secretariat for Comprehensive Drug Policies.
• Ministry of Interior: resources to meet commitments of the National Treasury Contribution Fund ($ 14,753 million).
• Ministry of Justice: meet financial obligations to the Memory and Human Rights Space (former ESMA) and to the National Human Rights University Institute “Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo”. Funds will also be earmarked for the National Institute of Indigenous Affairs and the National Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service ($ 975 million)
• Ministery of security: budget for the Argentine Federal Police and the Argentine National Gendarmerie that comes from a reduction in the budget corresponding to the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers and the National Directorate of Roads.
• Defending: increase in the budget for the Armed Forces to attend to expenses related to the Antarctic Campaign 2021/2022. There is also a reinforcement of credits to the National Meteorological Service under the Ministry.
• Energy: Funds are allocated to “guarantee the sustainability of the wholesale electricity market” through Compañía Administradora del Mercado Mayorista Eléctrico SA (CAMMESA) to execute its programs with external financing “increasing current expenses to the detriment of capital expenses” ($ 16,000 million).
• Productive development: increase to the National Institute of Industrial Technology “in compensation with a decrease in the budget” to “attend to programs related to the knowledge economy and the use of new technologies.”
• Agriculture, Livestock and fishing: the budget is increased to “mitigate the impacts of natural events on production.” It is also expanded to serve technical and professional services in Tecnópolis($ 3,197 million)
