The MDax of medium-sized companies rose by 0.33 percent to 27,426.13 points on Monday. The Eurozone leading index EuroStoxx 50 went up by 0.14 percent to 4324.09 points.
The euro was last traded at 1.0875 US dollars and has thus stabilized somewhat after the weakness of the past few days and is also higher than on Friday evening. The European Central Bank last set the reference rate at $1.0892 on Friday afternoon.
On the bond market, the current yield rose from 2.25 percent on Friday to 2.30 percent. The Rex pension index fell by 0.19 percent to 126.80 points. The Bund future lost 0.27 percent to 135.68 points.
