According to “Gewinn Online”, Rene Benkos Signa sold the house at Kärntner Strasse 11 for 95 million euros. Converted to the price per square meter, the price for the top address should be 31,000 euros per square meter. This is one of the highest square meter prices ever achieved in Vienna. A prominent tenant in the corner building not far from Stephansplatz is the US company Apple with an Apple Store.

The new owner is JR Investment GmbH. Behind it is the private foundation of the Upper Austrian industrialist Josef Rainer. In 2017, he sold his stake in the technology company B&R to ABB for a reported 900 million euros. In recent years he has repeatedly invested in real estate in particularly good locations.
