“This reduction will be valid for six months, which coincide with the highest demand for climatic incidence of the summer period in our province, including the consumption contained in invoices 11 and 12 of the current year (2021), and 1, 2, 3 and 4 of next year (2022), “added the Santiago president.
For his part, Cabanillas remarked in statements to Télam that “it is a very beneficial measure for the Santiago user, because it reduces a significant percentage of the cost of consumption.”
The provision, he added, “is very necessary at this time of year and for this northern region, especially in our province, due to the high temperature that produces greater electricity consumption.”
Cabanillas recalled that it is the second time that the reduction has been decided, which users will be able to verify in their invoices at the point referred to the “Provincial Compensation Fund (Summer Rate 2021/22)”.
The implementation of this instrument, which was initially agreed with the national government, allows the province to implement a differential rate again.
