The Ministry of Industry and Productive Development extended until June 5 the deadline to register for the Potencia PyMEX program, which with an investment of $12,000 million seeks to encourage exporting companies to win international markets.
Within this framework, the national portfolio summons more SMEs to finance themselves to gain international markets through the Potencia PyMEX program, which has the possibility of accessing non-reimbursable contributions per project with the aim of contributing to the increase in exports and the complexity and diversification of the productive structure.
In this regard, the Secretary for Industry and Productive Development, José Ignacio de Mendiguren, said that “from Sergio Massa’s team we are convinced that the development and diversification of exports is what will allow us to leave behind these crisis of recurring debt.
“Argentina has a great future ahead if the State and companies work together to multiply exports, to invite more SMEs to join because it will not only allow them to grow, but also make a great contribution to the country,” he added. .
For his part, the Undersecretary of Small and Medium Enterprises, Tomás Canosa, assured that “Potencia PyMEX is a tool to promote and accompany exporting SMEs in their investments so that, based on innovation and the promotion of digital transformation, they have more tools to compete in the global market and can multiply their sales to the whole world”.
Through this program, the secretariat invests in contributions of up to $60 million per project to support those exporting companies that incorporate improvements in their processes and products, with the potential to rapidly increase their exports and reach more markets.
Its objective is to “contribute to the increase in exports and the complexity and diversification of the productive structure, based on the valorization of production, with the incorporation of design, innovation and 4.0 technology that allows consolidating and increasing destinations. export for SME products and services”, they specified.
They can apply projects for the acquisition of capital goods; consulting and technical assistance services aimed at incorporating improvements in technical, commercial and/or productive aspects; and acquisition of inputs, raw materials and/or intermediate goods, salaries of new incorporations.
Meanwhile, they pointed out that “to focus on these SMEs, the Ministry of Economy incorporated a highly recognized international methodology, initiated by researchers from MIT and Harvard, which was adapted to the national reality by the Center for Production Studies (CEP XXI )”.
