This month’s survey reflected a rise in the number of units sold of more than 4,000 vehicles compared to the same month last year. In addition, it represents an increase of 13.7% compared to April of this year, when 34,774 had been patented.


So far in 2023, 195,078 patents have been cars, which represented an increase of 11.8% compared to the same period in 2022 when 174,527 vehicles had been registered.

Ricardo Salome, Secretary General of ACARA, stressed that the production of the factories “It is accompanying the growing supply of national models”, which today exceed 64% of the market, and considered that “this trend will continue during the remainder of the year, beyond exchange and electoral issues.”
