Thus, the rating agency FIX upgraded the rating to Category A (arg) to the following Group companies: Generación Mediterránea, Central Térmica Roca and Albanesi Energía. For their part, the emissions of the following projects were also upgraded to Category A+ (arg) from A (arg):


- Closing of the cycle at the Ezeiza Thermal Power Plant in the Province of Buenos Aires, of the company Generación Mediterránea;
- Closing of the cycle at the Maranzana Thermal Power Plant in the city of Río Cuarto, province of Córdoba, also of the company Generación Mediterránea, and
- Cogeneration project in Arroyo Seco in the province of Santa Fe of the company Generación Litoral.
Armando Losón (h.), head of the Albanesi Group, said: “It is a very good sign for the company and an important step to continue advancing with the investment plan that we have drawn up and that will allow Argentina to increase its supply of sustainable electrical energy at competitive cost”. And he added. “We are an Argentine company that invests in the country and always looks to the long term. Energy is a key factor in the growth of the economy.”
The Group -said in a statement- continues to position itself among the main generators in the country, capable of supplying energy to more than 3 million homes with an installed capacity of 1,380 MW.
Albanesi is an Argentine business group of private capital founded in 1929, with 90 years in the local market. Its main activities are the generation of electricity and the supply of natural gas.
