When Catherine, aka Cathie Wood, stood behind the lectern and addressed a Christian congregation in Connecticut in 2016, her sentences were a revelation to many in the audience. “I’ve always had the gift of faith,” says Wood. “The Holy Spirit has guided me all my life,” including when it comes to investment decisions. At this point, their fund company Ark Invest is two years old. The Lord encouraged her to focus only on the future. “Our investment style is all about disruptive innovation, the new creation.
