The Economy Minister announced this afternoon new measures aimed at improving consumption.

The Minister of Economy Sergio Massa announced this Thursday afternoon new measures that aim to improve consumption, including the drop in the income tax for the bonuses, climb the scales for the monotribute and one new line of credit at a subsidized rate.

“Today we are going to add one more chapter to the Argentine Credit Program. So far with $1 million in credit, we gave credit to the industry and to SMEs at a subsidized rate, because we understand that the State has to support the investment”, began Sergio Massa during his speech at the opening of the Expo Escobar 2023.

In this sense, the Minister of Economy added: “Now we are going one step further, 1.2 million monotributistas will be able to access credit at a fixed rate of 43% subsidized by the national State without a bank requirement for working capital. So that many talents can buy their equipment without a bank requirement with a guarantee from the State and FOGAR, because we believe that the State has to build incentive bridges for talent and innovation to grow”.

The credit program was devised in conjunction with the Production Secretariatheaded by De Mendiguren, with the aim of maintaining consumption and propping up investment in production to try to sustain economic activity.
