This growth is mainly explained by the positive variations registered in the private and public sectors, which incorporated 124.0 thousand and 93.2 thousand workers respectively (variations of 2.1% and 2.9% in each case), since that work in private homes showed a fall of 1.3% (5.7 thousand fewer workers).
For its part, according to the ministerial report, self-employment as a whole expanded 4.9% (115,300 workers) in the year-on-year comparison, due to the growth registered in monotax (87,100 people, + 5.4%) and social monotax (+ 42.4%, 11,600 people).

Those that achieved the highest growth rates were Catamarca (+ 8.3%), San Juan (+ 6.7%), Formosa (+ 6.1%), Tierra del Fuego (+ 6.0%), Neuquén (+ 5.7%), Salta ( + 4.8%) and Santiago del Estero (+ 4.2%).
