The three companies are TS Food Plus GmbH & Co. KG, TS Food Plus GmbH and Sykora GmbH. Behind all three companies is the now 55-year-old Lower Austrian, who won nine World Cup slaloms and two small crystal globes in his career.

According to KSV1870, a total of 33 employees and 72 creditors are affected by the bankruptcies. At TS Food Plus Gmbh & Co KG there are eight employees and 20 creditors, at TS Food Plus Gmbh 13 employees and 24 creditors, at Sykora GmbH twelve employees and 27 creditors. The liabilities are estimated at 245,000, 390,000 and 508,000 euros.

The causes of the bankruptcies are the corona pandemic, increased prices and, in some cases, considerable investments. This affects two “myIndigo” bars in Upper Austria, which Sykora operated as a franchisee – one in Lentia City in Linz and one in PlusCity in Pasching. The “momo-Kitchen.Coffee.Lounge” restaurant and, to a lesser extent, the ski trade are also said to be affected.

The creditor protectors emphasize that only the three companies, but not the franchisors, are affected by the bankruptcy proceedings. How things will continue with the restaurants is open. From today’s perspective, a reorganization plan is not sought in the respective proceedings.
