Analyzing exclusively the premises for rent and sale —that is, those offered— it is observed that for rent there was a rise of 59.2% in relation to the situation prior to the pandemic, while for sale there was an increase of 162.5% in the same comparison.
According to the Chamber’s measurement —which has been carried out since 2014—, which included the main commercial arteries of Buenos Aires, bimonthly advances were registered in Córdoba avenues (4000-5300); Pueyrredón (0-1200); Santa Fe (700-5300); Rivadavia (2000-2800; 4900-5400; 6300-7400; 11000-11600) and Corrientes (200-6800); and in the Florida pedestrian street. On the other hand, in Corrientes avenues (200-6800) and Avellaneda (2800-3800) there were bimonthly setbacks.

From the data analyzed by the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services (CAC) from a survey carried out by the Federation of Wholesalers and Suppliers of the State of the Province of Buenos Aires (FEMAPE), it was determined that, During September and October 2021, compared to the last pre-pandemic survey, there was an increase in the number of inactive stores —For sale, rent, closed or simply closed— in the main commercial areas of the City of La Plata, 71.7%. Likewise, in relation to the previous two months, there was a fall of 7.1%.
During the ninth and tenth month of 2021, a total of 91 stores with no commercial activity were detected in the surveyed areas.
