Personnel who work in shifts can also have the offspring supervised on weekends and public holidays as well as at night. For the time being, eight places will be created in the so-called vivo children’s world, according to the documents for the press tour on Monday.
With the opening of the new premises of the company kindergarten and the crèche, the places were increased from 90 to 200. From autumn, 24-hour support will be added, announced CEO Herbert Eibensteiner. The new offer is aimed at parents who both work in shifts at voestalpine and at those with extended working hours, such as in the company medicine department or fire brigade. Parents can register their needs in advance according to the rosters.
