The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) inaugurated a reception in Jesus Maria, Cordoba provinceas part of his ambitious plan to establish 22 of these offices throughout the national territoryhe. These new units will provide citizens the possibility to carry out a wide variety of procedures in person, iIncluding the management and regularization of the tax codeas well as updating and correcting registry data, among other services.
Through this initiative, AFIP seeks to further strengthen ties with the community at the federal levelworking in collaboration with the General Tax Directorate (DGI), as stated by the agency in a statement issued today.
The care office in Jesús María will be located at Calle Ingeniero Olmos 60 and will be open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This new receiver will satisfy the needs of more than 200,000 inhabitants of the department of Colón, in the province of Córdoba.
In addition, this face-to-face service channel will be complemented by the online management services available at the headquarters, which will allow taxpayers to make digital presentations and communications without the need to go personally to the offices of the AFIP.
The inauguration of this modern reception adds to the recent openings made by the agency in towns such as Villa General Belgrano, Cafayate, Mercedes, Puerto Iguazú, Colón, El Calafate, Marcos Paz, General Rodríguez, Salto, Saladillo and Jáchal.
This strategic territorial expansion plan aims to provide more accessible and efficient face-to-face assistance for citizens in their own jurisdictions, in order to promote voluntary compliance with tax obligations, reported the collecting entity.
