This Monday, the Construction Workers Union (Uocra), the Argentine Chamber of Construction (Camarco) and the Argentine Federation of Construction Entities (FAEC) they managed to materialize in joint negotiations a cumulative quarterly increase of 29.6%, reported sources from the trade union.

In this way, construction workers will receive the new salary recomposition in three sections: 10% in July, 9% in August and 8% in September.
The agreement was signed by the general secretary of the Uocra, Gerardo Martínez; Gustavo Weiss for Camarco and Ricardo Andino on behalf of FAEC.
The parity agreed this Monday was a consequence of compliance with the agreement in the second clause signed on April 7 regarding the monitoring of economic and sector variables, their socio-economic impact and “the consequent definition of salary adjustments from this month,” the union reported in a press release.
The new salary increase will be applied in the categories of collective agreements 76/75 and 577/10 and will be valid until September 30, while the parties formed a special commission to monitor economic variables.
Unionists and businessmen will meet again next September to negotiate and redefine the corresponding adjustments starting in October of this year.
They will also analyze the clauses of the agreement in order to propose its update based on the reality of new technologies and/or types of work.
The agreed values will absorb and/or compensate the increases of the workers granted voluntarily by the employers on account of future increases or the same concepts since last June, reported the union organization.
Unionists and businessmen ratified the social peace in the activity and requested the labor portfolio the immediate approval of the agreement for its application and validity.
