This morning, Secretary of Finance, Eduardo Setti, confirmed that the Government will pay in the next few days around US$1,000 million of restructured debt coupons in 2020.
The Government ratified the payment of bond coupons in dollars according to the established schedule and as part of the commitment to pay public debt obligations.

This morning, Finance Secretary Eduardo Setti confirmed that The Government will pay in the next few days around US$1,000 million of restructured debt coupons in 2020.


“According to the usual schedule, we will be making the payment of coupons of the titles denominated and payable in foreign currency,” Setti said in his account on the social network Twitter.
So, The total amount that will have to be paid this week to private holders is around US$982 millionof which the largest disbursements, for more than US$130 million each, correspond to three Global bonds (GD38, GD41 and GD38) and two Bonares (AL35 and AL38).
Last week, The Government finalized the payment of US$2.700 million to the IMF corresponding to the fifth payment installment of the agreement, US$1.700 million with Special Drawing Rights (SDRs).the currency used by the multilateral organization, and the rest with freely available yuan from the currency swap with the People’s Bank of China.
On the other hand, the conversations corresponding to the fifth review of the Extended Facilities agreement with the Fund staff so that, based on the existing program, Argentina receives an advance of disbursements, although it is not defined if it will reach the total remaining disbursements in 2023 (US$10.6 billion) or only for the next two (US$6.8 billion).
