The Ministry of Labor convened a new Salary Council. The meeting will take place on July 13.
He Ministry of Labor that heads Rachel Olmos summoned for the July 13 close to the members of the Salary Council. That day, the National Council for Employment, Productivity and the Minimum salary, vital and movil a new update of the minimum, vital and mobile assets and the minimum and maximum unemployment benefits.
The labor portfolio summoned trade unionists and businessmen on Tuesday to deliberate in ordinary session starting at 4:00 p.m. next Thursday virtually. Then they will discuss in a second meeting the amounts of that income and of these benefits, as determined by article 135 of Law 24,013 and its amendments, the ministry indicated.
The body, which is chaired by the Ministry of Labor, was created by Law 24,013, regulated in 1991 by Decree 2,725, which determined its institutional and operational organization. The Salary Council is chaired by Minister Olmos and, the current amounts of that income and unemployment, were decided for the last time on March 21.

As of last April 1, that income was 80,342 pesos, in May it increased to 84,512 and, in June, to 87,987 pesos, based on the last agreement between the parties, who agreed to increases of 15.6%, 6% and 5%, respectively, not cumulative.
The business chambers of the various activities will participate in the meeting, the CGT and both CTA (of the Workers of Hugo Yasky and Autónoma de Hugo Godoy). At the meeting held last March, the proposal to increase the minimum was approved by 30 votesHE Yasky’s CTA abstained and the Autonomous CTA rejected itoccasion in which trade unionists and businessmen agreed on a new call for this month of July.
