Expectations in Saliqueló and Tratayén due to the commissioning of the Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline

On Buenos Aires soil, a great event is being prepared for the opening of the valve that will allow gas to reach the AMBA from Vaca Muerta.

Expectation in the Government for the opening of the last valve of the first section of the President Nestor Kirchner Gas Pipeline (GPNK). This is a fact that will allow the connection with the main gas system to ensure the supply of six million users of the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), and start the export path to regional markets.

After ten months of works, in record time, the GPNK is a fact. Simultaneously, there will be two acts on the same objective, based on the locations of Tratayén in Neuquén, added to what happens in Salliqueló, on Buenos Aires soil.

As of today, with the Neuba II gas pipeline, the national energy system will add 11 MMm3/day of gas from VAca Muerta to the ring road of the Buenos Aires suburbs.

Around 1:15 p.m., the presidential plane took off from Buenos Aires to the Santa Rosa airport. From there Alberto Fernández, Cristina Kirchner and Sergio Massa will arrive by helicopter. In the event that is being prepared in Salliqueló, there were about twenty buses and dozens of cars and vans with officials, leaders and militants who from the AMBA and the surrounding area arrived early at km 285 of Provincial Route 85 to participate in the event, which it will also serve as a platform for the launch of Union por la Patria’s electoral campaign.
