The Empresa Energía Argentina, due to the ignorance of some publications, had to go out to respond from its official networks to explain the issue.
The photo of President Alberto Fernández, Vice President Cristina Fernández and the Minister of Economy and presidential candidate for the Union for the Fatherland (UxP), Sergio Massa, opening the valve at the inauguration of the President Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline (GPNK), brought some unfounded criticism in social networks.
In the act that took place at the Salliqueló measurement station, on the side of provincial route 85, kilometer 285, next to the Saturno compression plant, where it connects to the main network, it was possible to see to the left of the stage a pipe that ended without any connection.
From the Argentine Energy Company they had to go out to respond from their official networks to unravel on the issue “the high pressure transport gas pipelines are buried in most of their trace”.
“The valve that was opened at the inauguration connects the gas pipeline with the scraper receiving trap, a mandatory installation equipment used for cleaning and periodic internal inspection. The trap is at the progressive end of the gas pipeline.”
With the authorization of the section between km 285 and 570 of the President Néstor Kirchner Gas Pipeline (opening of the valve), the process of sweeping, pressurizing and filling the first section of this work was completed, which will allow the transport of gas from Vaca Muerta, ensuring the supply of gas to homes in times of high demand and enabling its export.
