Credits for up to $ 150,000 are credited by the selected banking entities in a single disbursement on a credit card of each monotributista. The beneficiaries have a six-month grace period and the repayment is made in 12 interest-free installments.
AFIP figures show that 60% of the loans were granted to monotributistas of the lowest categories. According to the numbers of the organism that leads Mercedes Marcó del Pont, the amount destined to prop up the consumption capacity of the taxpayers registered in categories A and B amounts to $ 22,000 million.
The AFIP web service is enabled until December 31, and the procedures with the banks chosen to request the credit may be completed until January 20, 2022.
The new zero-rate loans were added to the various relief measures for monotax borrowers. Small taxpayers have until December 31, 2021 to start the process. Those taxpayers who do not have a credit card must select a bank that will issue the card.
For his part, Ministry of Productive Development weeks ago, it expanded the universe of monotributistas who can access zero-rate loans. The regulations left without effect some conditions foreseen to access the loans, such as those referring to billing, so that small taxpayers who have been registered as of May 31 of this year will be eligible.
The maximum amount of zero-rate loans depends on the category in which each monotax borrower was registered as of June 30, prior to the last recategorization. For category A it is up to $ 90,000; for B, up to $ 120,000; and for the rest of the categories, up to $ 150,000.
Although the minimum of zero-rate credits provided by the regulations is $ 10,000, official figures show that most taxpayers request the maximum amount provided for each category.
How to access
To process a Zero Rate Credit, small taxpayers have to enter with a tax code at afip.gob.ar or from the Monotributo portal monotributo.afip.gob.ar and access from the search engine to the “Zero Rate Credit” service.
The system will inform each monotributista if they meet the requirements established by the Ministry of Productive Development to request a Zero Rate Credit.
The service will inform the reasons to those who cannot request the credit. Those who initiate the procedure must have a registered Electronic Tax Address.
