The Buenos Aires government offered this Tuesday at the state parity two new sections of salary increase, in July and September, with which the average increase will be 70% corresponding to July of this year, according to official sources.
The agreement offered to the unions that represent state workers included under the scope of Law 10,430 includes “a 100% increase in family allowances and the commitment to reopen negotiations in October,” according to details released by spokespersons for the Buenos Aires Executive
The meeting for parity between the provincial authorities and the representatives of the state unions was held at the headquarters of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Labor, in La Plata, and officials of the government of Axel Kicillofrepresentatives of state workers, provided by Law 10,430 -ATE, UPCN and Fegeppba-, and after the teachers grouped in the Unity Front, which make up Suteba, FEB, Sadop, AMET and Udocba.
At the end of June, the Teachers’ Front agreed with the Buenos Aires government on new parental leave, adopting an equity approach of “gender, social co-responsibility, rights of children and adolescents, intersectionality and non-discrimination.”
In this way, “rights for the different types of family conformations that exist were recognized, as well as contemplating the various care needs that families have throughout the time that exceeds the first days or months of life, thus eradicating the sexual segregation for the enjoyment of rights,” said trade union spokesmen.
State parity: how much did they offer as a salary increase?
Unions representing state teachers were offered an increase in Four. Five%which will be received in two tranches in July and September, according to official sources.
During the meeting, in which the unions that are members of the Buenos Aires Teaching Unity Front (FUDB) participated, it was offered that the 30% increase is incorporated into July wages and the fifteen% remaining in September.
The offer also included the commitment to apply a monitoring and review clause in the month of September, reopening of the salary parity for the month of October and an increase in Family Allowances in the amounts of a 96.85%.
As indicated, the agreed increase in the provincial state parity must be added the increase in the national sums of Fonid and Connectivity, which are resolved in the national teachers’ association
The FUDB ratified the need to advance in a Collective Bargaining Agreement “that safeguards the labor rights of teachers, without loss of any right enshrined in the statute and current regulations”, and expressed “the need to modify the basis of Calculation of salary increase based on the last salary agreed in parities”
It was specified that the unions will put the offer of the provincial government to the consideration of the organic bodies.
