This is the second design of the banknote family that throws the BCRA (the first was the one for $2,000) and which brings together five more personalities in three bills, which are displayed as follows:

  • the $500 one, with the images of María Remedios del Valle and Manuel Belgrano;
  • the $200 one, with the representations of Martín Miguel de Güemes and Juana Azurduy;
  • the one for $100, with the image of María Eva Duarte de Perón.

In this way, gradually, as well as San Martín will replace the baker on the $1,000 billMartín Miguel de Güemes and Juana Azurduy will become the stars of the $200 one, displacing the southern right whale from the current design, and María Remedios del Valle will join Manuel Belgrano in the $500 one, since the latter is the figure who illustrates the first design of that paper, and the jaguar will go out of print.
