Natalia ArinoFADA economist, compared this year’s prices with those of 2017: “Buying a complete hamburger with fries, soda, ice cream and some sweets in 2017 cost us $980. Today, instead, it costs us $13,320. This shows that the cost has multiplied by 13.”
“In five and a half years, a $1,000 bill lost the power to buy 26 packages of hamburger bread, 14 packages of frozen hamburgers, 50 kilos of potatoes or 21 soft drinks, mentioning only some of the products analyzed,” adds Ariño.
The Argentine pesos lost purchasing power in recent years, to give a few examples, the FADA economist Nicolle Pisani Sure says: “With $1,000 in December 2017 It was enough for 39 packages of chocolate wafers, today only 3, we lost 36 packages. The same happens with other products such as oil, which was enough for 18 bottles and today only 1, or cheddar cheese, which we bought 16 packages and now only 1. And we could continue with each ingredient.”

Also included two sodas, ice cream in bucket from supermarket (1.5kg) for dessert and sweets (candies and chocolate wafers). From the foundation they assure that the cost of the sleepover can vary depending on the products that are considered and their price.
