The Secretary of Energy authorized a new benefit for users who do not have access to the internet gas distribution. Through the Official Gazette, the Secretariat under the Ministry of Economy seeks to moderate the impact on the bills of Level 3 users (around 196,300 households).
The measure was embodied in resolution 576/2023 published in the Official bulletin, and will be valid in the quarter between June 1 and August 31, 2023.
“It is deemed pertinent to moderate the impact on the bills of Level 3 users – Medium Income – who do not have access to the natural gas distribution network, establishing that the energy cap with subsidy for said category is increased for consumption in excess of 800 kWh/month”, indicated the resolution in its recitals.
To access the benefit, users They must be located in the cold zones defined in Law 27,637, belonging to subzones IIIa, IVa, IVb, IVc, IVd, V and VI, of the bio-environmental zones used by the National Gas Regulatory Entity (Enargas) under regulations IRAM 11603/2012.
